Justen Lopez, MS, ATC/L, PES, GTS

I have worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer since 2011, spending time working at high schools, colleges, and physical therapy/sports medicine clinics. My passion for health and wellness has led me to create SportsMed360, allowing me to help train athletes and decrease their chance of injury, be there to properly take care of an athlete in the case of an injury, and to teach others how to help in times of need.

Variety of Classes

Do you need first aid training? CPR/AED? For adults? For an infant/child? Some or all of the above? Classes can be customized to fit what you need. The number of participants ranges from 1 to 12 per class.

fitness training with a medical eye

With over 12 years of injury evaluation and rehab experience, I can adapt fitness programs to appropriately navigate current or past injury precautions. Many overuse injuries/workout discomforts can be attributed to poor form/lack of activation of joint stabilizers. With a biomechanical approach, we can reduce the chance of injury and improve output.

As an Athletic Trainer, I’ve seen many injuries result from poor activation of joint stabilizers leading to improper biomechanics and causing abnormal stress through the body. Initiating a series of specific exercises, solidifying the foundation, and then transitioning to maintenance, can decrease the chance of a variety of injuries and increase athletic performance.

Sports Medicine event coverage

What is an Athletic trainer?

Athletic Trainers deal with the prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation of sports injuries. Typically seen on the sidelines of athletic competitions, we provide sports medicine coverage to take care of a myriad of conditions ranging from relatively minor, such as sprains, cuts, and strains, to potentially life-threatening conditions, such as a traumatic brain injury, emergency cardiac event, and environmental illnesses.

Equipped with a fully-stocked medkit, ice chest, treatment table, canopy tent, and automated external defibrillator (AED), I provide high-quality sports medicine coverage for any sporting event. With over 12 years of experience at a variety of levels, a certification in Basic Life Support, and frequently providing per diem Athletic Training services, I approach each event with quality and professionalism. The health and safety of your athletes should be in the hands of a trained healthcare professional.
